Lebedev Physical Institute, Moscow, where I did my undergraduate research in the group of Professor A. V. Masalov .

Department of Physics at Columbia University, headed by Professor S. R. Hartmann. I spent five years there working on my doctoral thesis.

Nonlinear surface optics group at UC Berkeley, headed by Professor Y. R. Shen. One year of postdoc.
